Fall Ready

1

I was looking at Pinterest last month for some fall outfits. It was wishful thinking, really, because the day I wore this outfit it was just about 90 degrees outside. Anyway, I came across this pin. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to own white pumps (I’d definitely wreck them the first time I wore them), but I loved the outfit and recreated my own version with a few items from my closet. That’s one of the things I really like about Pinterest: finding outfit inspiration and making it my own. How on earth did we get dressed before the internet?

Zig and Zag

I made this skirt back when I was really into DIY-ing skirts. This is the first maxi I’ve ever made and it’s very comfy and breezy. I wore this to work a few weeks ago. It’s a little casual for work, but I can barely function when it’s really hot outside, so the fact that I got dressed at all is kind of a miracle.

I Romp, You Romp, We Romp

1

I wore this little number around the house and to happy hour last week. I love rompers. I love the way they look (and I love the way this on feels–emphasis on the comfy), but the struggle has been real in my attempt to find the perfect adult-sized onesie. They’re usually just too short for my liking, but when I tried this one on at H&M on a quasi-recent shopping trip with my sisters, I bought it right away, even if it wasn’t technically on my “to buy” list. Can you blame me?
